So it only messes up for equip-able items? If you drop a non equip-able item say an apple it works fine? Maybe the server is not clearing the player data after it has logged out. And is doing something like this when you log in for i in inventory { if (i == no item) { do nothing //should be clearing... |

I don't think i need to shed more light on this really, William did a decent job.
For a practical example check out the plugin for Firefox called DownThemAll at http://www.downthemall.net/. This plugin accelerates your downloads by breaking files into 5 parts - each on different TCP connections. |

Try learning to do 2D in Direct3D --> you can do alot more. Direct3D is not that hard once you get into it. |

I am an advocate for having things done on the client side as much as possible. Any reduction on server load i am for. Once it does not create too much of a security problem. One thing i don't like about MS for example is that users download maps directly from the game server. I prefer updates to th... |

I know I'm suppose to be supportive of you William, but having 200+ controls on one form is ridiculas. I know i saw a lot of controls on the form when i looked at it but i didn't know it was 200+. Well depending on what each control is doing, it shouldn't slow down an average computer these days, s... |

That's the down side of creating a game by yourself. Takes long and your not good at everything (the enemy art in this case). |

Maybe someone could write a tutorial on rpg project management |

Over the years I have seen so many RPG games start up and have seen very little of them completed. I would say less than 10%.
Do you think you are gonna finish yours (why?) and how long do you think you are gonna take to finish it? |

lol, I just read the story, it sounds like a soap opera. I googled Uber RPG and other names in there but I could not find anything relevant.
Looks like Mirage Source has been around for a while now. What other Online RPG Game Makers are out there right now besides VBGore? |

When I really think about 3.0.7, MySQL maybe tricky to couple with Mirage Source. MS can be released with a preset or default database state, but for the person who does not understand databases (Tables, SQL statements etc...) will have a hard time customizing their game. They would have to learn to... |
