Overhead on objectstreams? Sure, in comparison to datastreams which are essentially just byte arrays, but use of multiple sockets per client and gzip compression streams means your packets are still tiny, and it allows you to implement a fantastically secure and structured object oriented code desig... |

I've actually just managed to integrate some phpbb3 forums into Joomla, using one user registration table thanks to an evil mod.
Thats pretty nifty. |

Alrighty, http://www.mirage-realms.com . The layout has a lot of good CSS in there for use with content pages, which is primarily why I chose it as I'm aiming to have a lot of content supporting the product. Will be changing the logo as soon as photoshop downl... arrives magically on my PC. Happy da... |

The beta we ran on Mirage Realms for almost a year on and off seemed to go down quite well, though the reason we decided not to finish the project and release something is simply the language its coded in. I think an extended beta test is definitely a requirement having worked with this project for ... |

Is a fullproof hardware ban really even possible? I don't think so... You're always going to be sending somthing over the net inorder to ban, and whatever you send can be changed. The random registry key thing works but not being able to play on other computers makes it not worth it. The only 'full... |

I did a lot of coding in vb.net today, in some ways it reminds me of my kiddie days and is oh so basic, but in others it is a bit of a mare. Its when they leave out certain aspects of OOP that are genuinely useful and include bits that buttfuck you sideways. Meh. I'm quite fond of .net, but the free... |

The three grass tiles to the right just look like Pokemon tiles recolored. Lol. Having edited some old Zelda tiles back in the day, I can pretty much guarantee he used Zelda grass tiles as reference.
