It doesn't really matter if YOU have a problem with it. If you're designing a game, you'll want to actually listen to suggestions from others otherwise you lose your players' interest. |

You will waste more time converting to .jpgs (which is still a waste of bandwith) than you will converting your site to dynamically sized dividers. |

Please, please, please fix your website. Don't make your users download a 300kb content background image, it's annoying. |

It would seem better to just save players when they level up. That way you never loose levels due to server crashes (the most complained about part of server crashes) That's fine until you have higher level players whose levels are few and far between. By doing that, you are forcing one portion of ... |

I assume this teaches how to take a server out? (At least if you have more than one person doing this at once on different IPs/Computers) Sure, a person could easily max out all the sockets on a single script. It wouldn't crash the server, but nobody would be able to connect. Wow, so registration t... |

Just so you guys know, the default MS4/MS3.0.3/etc. are all susceptible to malicious PHP scripts. PHP Code: This scriptlet creates 51 accounts with randomly generated usernames. The password is static simply because I was lazy and this is only for demonstration purposes. It only takes a few seconds ... |

DFA is, technically speaking, the head of the MS4 project within these forums. He may not own MS4 itself, but it is up to him as to where the development of MS4 goes and how it gets there. . . He started project and until he decides to step down, he should be regarded as the leader. |

MS4 would not be the right engine to start with if you are wanting to use copy/paste tutorials to "learn." There are no MS4-specific tutorials right now (as far as I know), but you could always use older tutorials as references to create your own system for MS4. I have never used MS4 so I ... |

But. When you put a website up, isn't it already on the internet? :P Not always. ^^ I could design a website, stick it onto a flash usb/CD(s), and hand those out to people instead of having them connect to http://www.some-domain.com. It's not on the internet, but it is a website. Nice try, though. =P |

It's a link. If you don't want other people linking to your site, don't put it on the internet. (or password-protect it, etc. etc.) |

You'd have to be very close, and fairly strong, to throw that and hit (or even make it to) your target. You're better off using that thing as a club. |
