The grey back would be transparent in game, just jpg format doesnt allow for transparency :D, heres a png with transparency, dunno what its compatiblities though with browsers, i think IE wont show the transparency, http://www.stdp7.com/system/Doombringer/GUI-Main.png im too tired atm to do anything...

No, the old forums are still all private, and with the mySQL errors, theres no way of registering...

So no-one but old members can view the boards.

Nice, the shading on the leaves is awesome, mine never look that good :(

Not much i can say for you to improve it, the shadow of the tree kinda cuts off, and i dont particularly like the top swirl of the stump, (just doesnt fit in). but thats being really picky

If your having problems with ripping, add a simple water mark over the top of the image, you can do it in photoshop, paint shop pro, and gimp (gimps free btw if you can get either of the two big packages, but there is surely ways to aquire it) Open the image you want to water mark, Make a new layor ...

I voted C++,

if we have a version for C++, Java and VB we got most of the major bases, others we could do is perl and delphi, but i dont like them, and had any real exprience with them (i have done some messing around and small apps).

Not bad, the stained glass effect could be blended in a little better. The renders and images you picked up from google are blended nicely ^_^, BUT do you have copyright? if you go and release your game, do you want angry lawyers sniffing up your ass? The text is looking better, but not quite there ...

Skype is good, i use it alot,

it beats msn, and looks nicer than teamspeak, though on teamspeak you can have more people at once...

I used about 4 textures in 3dmax, which where mud and grass overlays, with simple bump maps. The water was a simple transparent texture, and reflections were added in photoshop, also bloom, advanced lighting and sky were added in photoshop along with the border.
