Well, it's taken longer than we hoped, but the new GUI is finally nearing completion.

Here's the new class selection screen when making a new character. Just showing that we've not been sat around wanking all day.

Finished programming in the Hotbar. You can now drag items or skills to the bar and use the function keys to use/cast them.

Some information about the upcoming content in Silverdale.. What i am currently doing is mapping the new City. The new city will be located east of Everfall Woods, through Crystalwood Forest.. (This is the last forest, i promise xD)

Image

After that i plan on adding lots of new dungeons, and new areas.. I will also raise the level cap to 30. Level 30 will be the current max level, untill i make future expansions. But before the further level cap increase there will be atleast 5-6 Big dungeons for level 30, along with ALOT of items.. even more rare items. (Like a totally new color) There will also be more spells and ranks. We've also been thinking of adding sort of a "skill-tree/talent-tree".. We'll basically finnish most game featurers before any more cap raises.

Here are some minor previews of the new city.. keep in mind this is kinda unfinnished.. i might change the overall look of the new city.. that depends if i find new tiles to use.

Description patch: http://echostorms.net/silverdale_1_4_4_descriptionpatch.rar

A small patch which adds the item description panel to all items, whether they're in the bank, inventory, shop or the equipment slots.

Well its going pretty good, ive done about 50% of the town. Not counting in-doors.
I think im going to delay the entire finnish of town untill the update after this one, i mean ill ofcourse finnish all the in-doors and most shops, but i'll be releasing the rest of the city in another update.. Instead im going to work on a new dungeon, featuering new items/monsters and bosses.

Ive also talked to Grim, he'll be coding a cool Buff system :). So we'll get alot of new spells for all classes.. Which is pretty awesome ;D. I smell Berserk spell for Fighters ;D.

Image

There is also a chance you'll be getting an auto-updater for once and for all xD.. in this next update, if not this one.. then the next one after this.

;D

Well today i went through the server one more time. I entirely fixed the current Alchemy Recipes.. they make alot more sense. Now it isint all random.. At the fighter starting area and up the HP pot ingredients grow, while at the Mage's starting area and up the MP pot ingredients grow. All recipes need a certain item + an item called "Powder Bell" which you can buy at all General Stores..

When you're done collecting the low level ingredients you can combine two make a stronger ingredient.. for stronger potions. At higher levels, better herbs and flowers grow.. Ive made herbs up to Cursed Woods, im going to add more herbs at Everfall along with new Recipes.

Image

Ive also changed all Item Icons for alchemy.. Dont you hate how Wineberry and Glowing Wineberry looked the same? I hate that stuff.. :P My rule for Silverdale is "give no item the same icon!!" xD.

Anyway..

Image

Ive talked more with Grim, i must say he's really creative and he got some really good ideas for Silverdale.. Man where did all my cool ideas go to? Back at Godborn i had freaking insane ideas for games. And i remember the only coder to only code them was Belier13, untill i lost faith and just got used to working with what i had xD.. Well thats good since ive learnt how to make use of almost every little thing.. Anyway..

Await more updates soon!
