ok i got bored to today and was looking at shaded's game and decided i would try and make a lil colony just to see how good it came out. so this is what i came up with tell me what you think.

I like the first one better. But I enjoy seeing the different styles. I was thinking of displaying different city gfx depending on size and stuff.

ya i liked the first one better too. and ill see about the different gfx for the cities. And heres another one kinda a wooden fort type thing.

I was thinking later on when the city gets large enough to expand it to 64/64, but that is not needed for now.

Can you make a 32x32 tower?

Aside from player's cities on the maps. There will special constructs that players can take.

For example if a player takes the Tower of the Arcane. The player's sages will be increased in power. If they are in a kingdom, the entire kingdom will gain a slight bonus.

I think you need to show a bigger difference between them so people can tell at a glance.

ya i know but theres not much of a noticable difference i can make with that small of a pic/colony

It should be like:

Level 1: Normal buildings

Level 2: Normal buildings with a smoke line coming out

Level 3: Bigger buildings with 2 or so smoke lines coming out
