Put it together using a few nice images from Google and changed the colors, editited a lot of stuff, made some buttons, not done yet, but what do you all think so far?

It looks good. And I agree the text should be horizontally only. ANd the girl in the middle, kinda scares me. Reminds be of a woman staring through a window or something. WOuld probably look better if it wasnt so real. 7/10 |

As long as the buttons wont be hard to read. Try to keep the text all on one line, be it horizontal, vertical, or inbetween. |

I don't like it, looks very generic. As if all you've done is applied a filter, which i'm sure you haven't done - that's just how it looks. 5/10. |

I can appreciate what you were trying to do, but the font is just bad. the whole idea of the falling letters is no good. It looks like you just put a few pictures on there, turned the contrast up, then just used the mosiac tiles filter and set the opacity to like 60%. It's not a bad start, it just needs a few improvements. If all you do is add a few photoshop effects, people will notice 
Just spend a little more time with it... read some fancy tutorials and improve it a bit and i'm sure it will be an original GUI. Current Rating: 4/10 |

The girl looks too real, I suggest finding an anime girl. The title, don't do it like that. It would look better either straight across, or up and down. Other than that stuff, it doesn't look all that bad. |

Not bad, the stained glass effect could be blended in a little better. The renders and images you picked up from google are blended nicely ^_^, BUT do you have copyright? if you go and release your game, do you want angry lawyers sniffing up your ass? The text is looking better, but not quite there yet, keep it hozitontal and not wonky, buts is better than the falling of the side. I do like the embossed buttons too, modify more till your spot on  , you almost there

I hate fullscreen stuff :p. Seems like it is just taking up way to much space especially since my resolution is 1600x1200. Mirage was meant to be played in something like 800x600. Classified your right, it basically is just a filter. All I did was blend some images from Google together, like I said already, changed the colors, added the stained glass filter and made some simple buttons. Didn't take very long :p. The words were just something new I was trying, mainly I am shooting for something kinda odd but not to odd where people are just like wtf. Thats why the words are still tilted. I like the girl, but I guess I could probably find something different. Not really too worried about lawsuits. I will give credit were needed, and if any problems arise, I will remove them and use something new. This is if it even becomes a publicaly released game. I will screw around with it some more tomorrow. Probably could come up with something better. |

You know you can make the game change the res right? The game me and Sonire are currently working on, is full screen in game, no gui. The maps fit perfectly to an 800x600 res. ^_^ Good luck with your project though, hope everything goes good. Good day. |
